PrepTree Global

GOAL Programme — Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Booking and confirmation

1.1 A booking is confirmed only when full programme fee is received and PrepTree Global issues written confirmation. Form submission alone does not reserve a seat.

1.2 Seats are allotted on a first-paid basis. Programmes have limited capacity and PrepTree Global is not obliged to accommodate late applicants.

1.3 The participant must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the programme end date. Obtaining and maintaining a valid passport is solely the participant's responsibility.

1.4 By booking, the participant confirms that all information provided is true and complete. PrepTree Global may cancel any booking made on false or incomplete information, with no refund.

2. Payment

2.1 Payment is accepted via UPI or card through the programme page. Fees are quoted in Indian Rupees and are payable in full unless a staged plan is confirmed in writing.

2.2 Quoted fees are based on prevailing exchange rates, airfares, and host institution charges. PrepTree Global reserves the right to revise fees before confirmation where these costs change materially.

2.3 Bank, gateway, or currency conversion charges are borne by the participant.

3. What the fee covers

3.1 Unless stated otherwise on the programme page, the fee includes: tuition and academic sessions at the host institution, programme certificate, accommodation, local transport, scheduled sightseeing, three meals a day, return economy airfare, and travel insurance.

3.2 The fee excludes: travel from the participant's home city to the departure airport; travel and stay for the visa appointment; passport fees; personal expenses; excess baggage; optional activities; medical costs beyond insurance cover; and anything not expressly listed as included.

4. Visa

4.1 PrepTree Global arranges the visa application on the participant's behalf and provides documentation support.

4.2 The participant must attend the visa appointment or biometric enrolment in person at the designated centre. Travel and accommodation for this is at the participant's own cost.

4.3 The participant must supply all documents by the deadlines communicated. Delay or non-submission that results in visa refusal or missed timelines is the participant's responsibility, and clause 5.2 will not apply.

4.4 Visa decisions rest entirely with the relevant consulate or embassy. PrepTree Global cannot guarantee approval and is not liable for refusal, delay, or administrative processing.

5. Cancellation and refunds

5.1 Once a booking is confirmed, the programme fee is non-refundable except as set out below.

5.2 Visa refused: where a visa is refused despite full and timely cooperation by the participant, the programme fee and accommodation component will be refunded less applicable cancellation charges and any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred. Airfare is refunded only to the extent the airline permits.

5.3 Visa approved: no refund is payable once a visa has been approved, for any reason, including withdrawal, personal circumstances, or non-travel.

5.4 Voluntary withdrawal before visa outcome: refunds are limited to amounts PrepTree Global can recover from host institutions, airlines, accommodation providers, and insurers, less an administrative charge.

5.5 Approved refunds are processed within 30 working days of the refund being agreed, to the original payment method.

5.6 Participants removed from a programme under clause 8 receive no refund.

6. Changes or cancellation by PrepTree Global

6.1 PrepTree Global may vary the itinerary, host institution, accommodation, dates, or academic content where reasonably necessary. Reasonable equivalence will be maintained.

6.2 Programmes require a minimum number of participants. PrepTree Global may cancel a programme that does not reach minimum numbers, or where circumstances make it unviable or unsafe.

6.3 Where PrepTree Global cancels a programme, the participant may choose either a transfer to another GOAL programme, with any difference in fee adjusted, or a refund of the programme fee less non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on the participant's behalf.

6.4 PrepTree Global is not liable for consequential losses arising from a change or cancellation, including loss of leave, academic time, or separately booked travel.

7. Travel

7.1 All air travel is economy class on carriers selected by PrepTree Global. Specific airlines, routings, and seat preferences cannot be guaranteed.

7.2 Participants must comply with all airline rules on baggage, documentation, check-in, and conduct. Excess baggage and airline penalties are payable by the participant.

7.3 Attendance at the pre-departure orientation is mandatory. Participants who do not attend may be refused travel with no refund.

7.4 Participants must report to the designated departure airport counter at least four hours before scheduled departure.

7.5 Participants who arrive late, miss the flight, or are denied boarding for any reason, including delays in their own onward travel, forfeit the programme with no refund. Any alternative travel arranged is at the participant's own cost.

7.6 Participants travel as a group and must remain with the group for all scheduled academic, transport, and supervised activities.

8. Conduct

8.1 Participants must comply with the laws of the host country, the rules of the host institution, and the reasonable instructions of PrepTree Global staff and programme leaders.

8.2 PrepTree Global may remove any participant whose conduct is unlawful, unsafe, disruptive, or damaging to the reputation of PrepTree Global, the host institution, or the group. Removal is at the participant's own cost, including return travel, with no refund.

8.3 Participants are liable for any damage or loss they cause to property, accommodation, or third parties.

8.4 Participants under 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.

9. Health and insurance

9.1 Participants must disclose any medical condition, allergy, dietary requirement, or medication relevant to international travel at the time of booking. PrepTree Global may decline participation where a condition cannot be reasonably accommodated.

9.2 Travel insurance is included as specified on the programme page. Cover, limits, and exclusions are set by the insurer. Participants should read the policy and arrange additional cover if they consider it insufficient.

9.3 Participants are responsible for any vaccinations or health requirements of the host country.

10. Certificate and academic credit

10.1 A certificate is issued by the host institution on satisfactory attendance and completion of the academic programme.

10.2 The programme does not carry transferable academic credit. Whether any recognition is granted is entirely at the discretion of the participant's home institution, and PrepTree Global gives no assurance in this regard.

10.3 Participants who do not meet attendance requirements may not receive a certificate.

11. Photography and media

11.1 PrepTree Global may photograph or film programme activities and use this material in its marketing, on its website, and on social media without further consent or compensation.

11.2 Participants who do not wish to appear in such material must notify PrepTree Global in writing before departure.

12. Force majeure

12.1 PrepTree Global is not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, strikes, airline or airport disruption, government action, visa policy change, or border closure.

12.2 In such circumstances PrepTree Global will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer alternatives, but refunds are limited to amounts recoverable from third-party suppliers.

13. Liability

13.1 PrepTree Global acts as an organiser and coordinator, engaging host institutions, airlines, accommodation providers, insurers, and transport operators on the participant's behalf. It is not liable for the acts, omissions, or default of these third parties.

13.2 PrepTree Global's total liability in connection with a programme shall not exceed the programme fee paid by that participant.

13.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Data

14.1 Personal information collected is used to process the booking, arrange visas, travel, insurance, and accommodation, and to communicate about the programme. It is shared with host institutions, consulates, airlines, insurers, and accommodation providers as required.

14.2 Personal information is handled in accordance with the PrepTree Global Privacy Policy.

15. General

15.1 These terms may be amended at any time. The terms in force at the date of booking confirmation apply to that booking.

15.2 These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.

15.3 If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
